Qualifications
A qualified coach will have prior experience and a love for working with kids.
- We are looking for applicants who have excellent organization and time management skills, enthusiasm and the passion and motivation to help children learn in a sports-based environment
- Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills required to perform well; uses best practices and demonstrates up-to-date knowledge and skills in technology
- Minimum age of 18
Description
- Coach for AYSA Youth Programs Ages 3 - 17. You will be considered a leader and role model for a small number of young athletes; therefore sportsmanship, fair play and full participation are expectations of the program. (Coaches should refer to their Program Rules for guidance in these matters)
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise games, practices and events
- Supervise Assistant Coach and Coordinate with Team Parent (if assigned). Teach the fundamentals of the sport.
- Provide a safe and fun environment for the children.
- Put the feelings of all the players ahead of your desire to win.
Qualifications:
- Must be enthusiastic.
- Must be patient.
- Must be organized.
- Must be dependable.
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience in sports coaching
- Certifications: CPR, AED, First Aid are highly recommended
- Job Types: Part-time, Contract
- Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
