Atlanta Youth Sports

Our Core Values

overview

Our Core Values are very important to us. We work very closely as a small team and all candidates must fit these Core Values:

Vision: AYSA encourages youth to get or remain active! We provide an experience that families embrace, remember, and appreciate. We remain true in the recreation spirit of sports therefore we accept all players, regardless of their current skill level. We do not have a selection process or try-out process to be placed on our teams. We accept kids on a first come, first serve basis. We believe that as long as the child wants to learn we can teach the skills needed to play.

values

  • Kids First

Putting kids first in sports means creating an environment where their safety, well-being, and development are the top priorities. It means ensuring that the experience of playing sports is enjoyable, positive, and meaningful for every child, regardless of their skill level or background.

  • Making Memories

Making memories is all about creating special moments that you will remember for a lifetime. Whether it's hitting a home run, scoring a goal, or making a great play, every time you step onto the field or court is an opportunity to create new memories. Making memories means you are also building friendships, learning teamwork, and developing important life skills.

It’s about cherishing the little things too, like the sound of the crowd cheering, the feeling of the sun on your face, or the taste of victory after a hard-fought game. These are the moments that you will look back on.

  • Be a Spongebob, not a Squidward

Being a Spongebob means to bring joy and enthusiasm to everything you do, and to never let negativity bring you down. It means approaching life with a childlike wonder and a belief that anything is possible and always being willing to lend a helping hand to others. Spongebob is known for spreading joy wherever he goes, never letting negativity bring him down.

  • Put Your Best Foot Forward

Putting your best foot forward means giving your best effort, being your best self, stepping up to the plate and presenting your best qualities to the world. It means striving for excellence and doing your utmost to achieve your goals and aspirations.

  • Utility Player

Utility players are valued for their ability to fill in wherever needed, providing flexibility and adaptability to a team. They often possess a wide range of skills and are able to adapt to different game situations and play styles.
